The design of our undies is “one piece”, meaning that the body of the undie is woven in one continuous loop. This allows the undie to not have any stitching on the sides, where other designs often dig into the skin and cause irritation.

All our products are designed by our team in Winnipeg, Canada and manufactured in one of the dominant the bamboo growing regions of China.

Our decision to manufacture in China was a rigorous one. Choosing to make the undies and socks in the place where the main ingredient is grown made sense to us. Moreover, the quality of the fabrication is second to none.

We ensure all our manufacturing partners are compliant with all environmental safety and worker care practices.

Tracked shipping is available on all orders. For US and Canadian orders over $75* it is free of charge, and for orders below $75 we charge $10.

For US orders we ship using USPS and for Canadian orders, Canada Post.

We care about the environment and want to ensure our impact on it is as minimal as possible.

To protect the product and ensure it arrives to you in the best shape possible, each undie is wrapped in either a compostable pouch or small recyclable bag.

The outer packaging for our shipments, depending on size of order, is either a recycled paper envelope or a compostable mailer bag.

I started Caroquilla because of my underwear drawer!

Over the years it had built up to a mountain of used, unwearable undies. I was horrified by the thought of sending them to the landfill. Nylon takes DECADES to degrade, and even then it only reduces to microplastics.

Bamboo is one of the most sustainable plants out there. Requires no irrigation, and absorbs more carbon dioxide than other plants. And at the end of it’s wearable life, it biodegrades in just weeks!

I am here to walk along with you to reduce the impact we have on mother earth.

Years ago I was a professional bra fitter for a renowned retailer. In the change rooms I would stand beside women who were at their most vulnerable. The experience opened my eyes to how a small piece of clothing, that usually isn't even seen by others, can have a big impact on a womxm's self-perception.

Everyone aspires to look and feel beautiful and comfortable. With the right garment and the right perspective, every woman is capable of recognizing just how beautiful they truly are.

Like many people out there, I have dealt with mental health challenges, mainly generalized anxiety disorder and depression.

In starting Caroquilla, I did not want to miss the opportunity to be a voice for mental health advocacy. Even if just in a small way, I strive to lessen the stigma surrounding mental illness, which is so prevalent in our society.

Self care is more than a mantra. more than a catch phrase. It takes work and it take community.
